A website that does a job, not just a website that exists.

Your website is the one marketing asset every other channel points at. GenFour builds it to convert the visitors you already earn, and structures it so Google and AI assistants can understand what you do and who you do it for.

The problem

Most business websites are brochures.

They describe the company, list services, and stop. Visitors arrive from search or a referral, read about you instead of about their own problem, and leave without a next step. Traffic looks fine in the analytics. Leads do not.

You probably need this ifCommon signals

Your site was built more than four years ago or on a platform you are afraid to update

Traffic is steady but the contact form is quiet

The site does not describe who you serve or what makes you different

You cannot say what percentage of visitors take any action

How we approach itA website that does a job, not just a website that exists.

We start with positioning and page strategy before anyone touches design. Which pages need to exist, what each one has to accomplish, and what a visitor should do at the end of it. That plan drives the copy, the structure and the build.

What is included

Every engagement covers the whole job, not a slice of it.

Six things you get, each one connected to the others. No add-ons, no surprise line items.

01

Positioning and page strategy

Foundation

02

Conversion-focused copy

Foundation

Copy written around the buyer's decision, with clear calls to action on every page.

03

Design and development

Foundation

A custom design on a fast static stack. No page builders, no plugin dependencies.

04

Schema and AEO structure

Foundation

Structured data, clean headings and answer-ready content blocks built in, not bolted on.

05

Analytics and lead tracking

Foundation

Goal tracking, call tracking where appropriate, and a dashboard that ties visits to leads.

06

Launch and 30 days of support

Foundation

Migration, redirects, search console setup, and a month of fixes and adjustments after launch.

How we work

Built in the right order, measured from day one.

The site is built on a modern static stack, which means it loads fast, stays secure without plugins, and does not need a maintenance retainer to keep running. Every page ships with clean heading structure, schema markup and the technical signals that answer engines depend on.

Analytics and lead tracking are wired in from day one, so the first month of data is real data. You will know what the site produced, not just how many people looked at it.

Questions

Questions about website design and development.

Clear answers before you commit to anything.

Do I need a new website, or can mine be fixed?

It depends on the platform and the structure. If your site is on a modern platform, loads reasonably fast and has a sound structure, we can often improve it in place through content, tracking and technical work. A rebuild makes sense when the platform is outdated, the site is slow, or the structure cannot support the pages you need. The Growth Audit answers this before you commit to either.

What platform do you build on?

A static site generator with a headless CMS for content you need to edit yourself. The result is a site that loads fast, has no plugin attack surface, and costs very little to host. If you have a strong reason to stay on WordPress, HubSpot or another platform, we can work within it.

How long does a website project take?

Most projects run six to ten weeks from kickoff to launch. Strategy and copy take the first two to three weeks, design and build the middle, and testing, migration and launch the final stretch. Timelines depend mostly on how quickly content decisions get made.

Will I be able to edit the site myself?

Yes. Pages you will update regularly, such as blog posts, team members or service details, live in a CMS you can edit without touching code. Structural changes go through us.
